Sekhukhune TVET College partnered with Small Entreprise Development Agency (SEDA) on the 25 of February 2020, to establish the Centre for Entrepreneurship Rapid Incubator (CfERI) at the Sekhukhune TVET College’s CS Barlow Campus in Motetema, Groblersdal. This Centre aims to nurture and develop young entrepreneurs from the college and Sekhukhune District.
The Centre’s primary goal is to change job seekers, particularly youth and vocational students/graduates, into job creators. Our objective is to empower self-sustaining entrepreneurs, fostering the growth of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) that contribute to the economy of the Sekhukhune District and, ultimately, the nation. This initiative helps to reduce poverty and address the high youth unemployment in the area.
We offer a stimulating environment that promotes creativity, with spaces like the innovation area and the MakerSpace, equipped with tools for developing products and prototypes. The Centre provides an innovative and professional space where entrepreneurs can connect with peers, clients, and potential partners. Additionally, our experienced team offers extensive expertise and guidance across all areas essential for growing your business.
