Projects in 2022/23

1. Impact@Work
Partnering with Enactus & MTN Foundation to implement Impact@Work which focuses on graduates and students with business ideas that need to be validated. Virtual incubation programme is offered to the selected until to the stage where pitching and selection of best idea is done. MTN provides inceptives such as data and laptops to the participants.

2. Sekhukhune District Municipality
In collaboration with Sekhukhune District Municipality the centre will be incubating the beneficiaries from the SMMEs & Cooperatives Development Fund, beneficiaries will receive a 12 months incubation programme together with their approved funding.

3. Enterprise Development Fund
Enterprise Development Fund, in partnership with KH Research Equity Partners working to establish an enterprise development fund to support local SMMEs in the district. KH is will be assisting us raising funding as well as support in  administrating and management of the fund.

4. MB2 Solutions
¡Working with MB2 Solutions, the centre implemented the Satellite Dish Installation Training and Entrepreneurship Programme – helping over 90 unemployed youth to learn how to install DSTV satellite dish and start their own business.

5. National Skills Fund(NSF)
Working with the college the Centre is running the Enterprise Development Skills programme in partnership with National Skills Fund(NSF) to support business leaders of co-operatives and SMMEs with leadership, conflict management, emotional intelligence and mindfulness.

6. Tshwane University of  Technology
In collaboration with Tshwane University of  Technology, we are running the Appliances and Smart Phones Technical Training and Entrepreneurship Programme targeting,  graduates and exiting students from from Sekhukhune TVET College.

7. Glencore Mine
The Centre is also running the Clothing Manufacturing Processes Courses in partnership with College and Glencore Mine with a vision assisting the beneficiaries start clothing manufacturing co-operative upon completion to supply Glencore with PPE.

8. Cafeteria / Tuckshop through graduates programme
Centre is running college Cafeteria / Tuckshop through graduates from Sekhukhune TVET College as operators, renovation of all cafeteria and equipping is planned. Centre will be adding mobile carwash operators as in this programme.

9. Allan Gray Makers
Inter-College Entrepreneurship Competition in collaboration with Allan Gray Makers. Students pitch their business in front of judges and prices are won by the most innovative presenters.
